Аннотация

This article examines the scientific status, functional characteristics, and strategic role of teaching methodology in the preparation of future philology teachers. It traces the
discipline’s integrative links with philology, pedagogy, and psychology, and its function as a bridge between theory and practice. It then shows why methodology is central to developing professional competencies, reflective thinking, and pedagogical identity. We argue that teaching methodology
is an essential scientific and practical foundation for preparing philologist-pedagogues.
